Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn holds the position of Senior Director for Renewable Operation Capability at NextEra Energy. In this role, he oversees asset optimization and the formulation and implementation of hiring and training strategies for the renewable energy portfolio. With over 18 years of leadership experience, Mike has served in various director-level operational capacities within NextEra Energy, including oversight of field operations, power plant upgrades, and maintenance of solar and wind projects. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Business from Florida Atlantic University, and holds certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
